In December 2006 & 2007, College Green in Bristol underwent a magical transformation into five nights of Winter Wonderland.
After the success of LUB 2006, 2007 saw the dazzling event, delivered by iShed, Bristol Media and the West of England Design Forum, projecting festive moving images across the whole of the Council House, College Green and the Cathedral. Special treats included specially created films and animation by some of Bristol's leading creative talent, projected 400ft across Bristol's Council House.
Invited to participate both years, I developed a luminous design inspired by the unwrapping of presents. In 2006 it was a static projection, but in 2007 it was animated with accompanying music by a Norwegian composer.
