Over the summer of 2010, I travelled through Greece and India culminating in an Artist Residency at Chhaap Baroda Printmaking Workshop in Vadodara. I kept a blog whilst away which you can visit at genevievebrowne.tumblr.com.
Continually inspired by textiles and costume, I found a great deal of inspiration in the identification of ones position in society based on their dress. This then translated into my series of Giclee prints depicting reverse portraits. I believe they say more about a society than a face could.
